Replace Your Oldest TVs with Best TVs by Joining Samsung’s New Year Smart TV Event

To celebrate the new year, Samsung Electronics plans to hold a special smart TV promotion event for its loyal TV customers.

The year of 2012 is expected to see a rapid increase in demands for digital TVs with launch of digital broadcasting in Korea. In accordance with this trend, Samsung Electronics plans to hold an event of ‘Looking for the Oldest TVs’ to find six oldest analog TVs and change them with newest smart TVs. This event is prepared to thank for loyal customers who have continuously chosen Samsung TVs for their living rooms. 

Son Jeong Hwan, Senior Marketing Director of Samsung Electronics said “Customers are now embracing smart TVs very fast. Half of TV sales are smart TVs nowadays in Korea.” also adding that “Since 2012 is the first year of digital broadcasting and is expected to have strong demands for high definition TVs, Samsung plans to hold a variety of promotion events regarding smart TVs, delivering various benefits and gifts to customers.”
